JC + C: Bahamas Wedding Photography

When Lisa with LMG Events told me her clients wanted us to photograph their wedding celebration on Harbour Island, we were thrilled to say the least. JC + C wanted a 4-day getaway with their friends and family on this small and secluded island in the Bahamas. I cannot tell you how many people were involved in this production, from all the wonderful staff members at the two resorts involved (which were completely private to just the wedding guests for these 4 days), the numerous vendors needing to be flown in from the US and Colombia…to the dozens of workers needed to build up the ceremony and reception space from scratch. We watched as hundreds of pieces of wood, platform pieces, the tent structure, decor items and thousands of flowers were slowly and lovingly put together by hand for 2 days to create the beautiful space (Adam from Artistic Blooms, and Boy Meets Girl Weddings…you are amazing). Keep in mind, this is a tiny island in which everything had to be flown in and then brought in by boat…and then load by load driven on the beach by truck or forklift. We then watched as everything took another 2 days to take down.

Here are some of my favorites from their wedding day at the beautiful Pink Sands Resort and the “Tropical Decompression” pool party they threw the day after at The Dunmore. Some of my favorite moments are seeing all the love between JC + C and their children (I’m a mom…I can’t help but be a complete sucker for that!)…and another favorite would have to be the look on the guests faces when they saw Latin Grammy winner Fonseca take the stage – a surprise the couple wanted to give the guests.

This was a truly memorable weekend meticulously executed by LMG Events (Lisa – you are super woman!)…and we’re very thankful to have been a part of it. Here is the entire list of magic makers involved!
